Lightweight Thrifty Aluminum 1/2 and 1-ton fixed-height gantry cranes are one of our most popular product lines, offering the greatest clear span of any Wallace Crane. The Aluminum design makes these cranes the ideal combination of high lifting and reduced weight. They come in fixed-heights ranging from 9′ 6″ to 9′ 10″, are stable under load, and easily assembled and disassembled for convenient portability.

Current applications include use in chemical, optical and electronic clean rooms. Many customers use our cranes for HVAC, electric utilities, WWTP, municipal maintenance (including subways, buses and building facilities), hospitals, universities, airports, and military. Their light weight makes them easier to lift onto and off of trucks, up stairwells, and thru tight hallways and entranceways. Our lightest crane in this category has a ship weight of only 135 pounds.

Available accessories include manual or powered trolleys and hoists, jack kits for frequent crane height adjustments, and kart kits for transporting and/or storing cranes. Options for track mounting with V-groove casters and motorizing cranes are also available.
